For most of my life, I have worn the same comfortable shirts, shorts, pants, and shoes. Routine is easy when it has been embedded in culture for so long. Breaking into new understandings of expression has led to an uphill battle in how to dress. Trips into the dressing room become uncomfortable trying to fit into a skirt that will never be the size needed. Did I Put It on Right? explores the challenges one faces when looking into a mirror as well as the enjoyment of a garment that reimagines ourselves and who we can be.
